We received an urgent call about a calf lying unconscious on the roadside. When our team arrived, the scene was heartbreaking:

- It had two deep, open wounds beneath its neck, possibly caused by a sharp object or a dog attack
- The wounds were infested with flies, and the calf was severely dehydrated
- It was lying in the dirt, completely exposed to further harm
This wasn’t just an injury—it was a life-threatening situation.

Our team, including a qualified veterinary doctor and three dedicated volunteers, wasted no time. With gloves on and first-aid kits ready, they began emergency treatment on-site.
The treatment process included:
- Cleaning the wound thoroughly with antiseptic solution
- Removing dead tissue and debris from the injury site
- Administering antibiotics and painkillers via injection
- Applying special healing ointment and bandaging the area
- Offering water to rehydrate the calf gradually
The procedure took nearly 45 minutes, and the calf slowly began to regain consciousness—a ray of hope in the midst of despair.
